2013 Ladies' Tech Day
It had come up in the past that many ladies in the local Foothills Miata Club enjoyed their cars, but felt they didn't have a good understanding of basic maintenance and knowledge to do what they could to properly care for the cars. Too many club tech days in the past were targeting a different audience, which left those just getting interested in their cars without the chance to learn about them.
The FMC and Sports Cars, Etc. (under HPMotors) developed a tech day with that in mind. It soon became apparent that even though it was developed with the club's ladies in mind, plenty of guys were interested in a basic/low key tech day as well!
After the presentations, and a little Q&A, it was great top-down weather for a drive over to the Happy Cow Creamery for a delicious lunch and some more socializing.
The turnout was great, and we estimate around 15 cars with around 20-25 people attended. We hope everyone learned a little something new about the convertibles! There are some pictures below, but make sure to check out FMC's own site for all the pictures.
